Christmas Performances

It stands to reason that if you have three children they will all have slightly different personalities, but my kids have EXTREMELY different personalities especially when it comes to performing on stage.

Nicholas hates it, he does it because it's something he is supposed to do and he's a rule follower.  At his performance at the Breakfast with Santa, he stood up on stage and sang, but with no animation or enthusiasm.  He did what he had to do to make everyone happy and couldn't wait for it to be over.   That's it plain and simple.

Then there's Jack.  His school performance was yesterday.  All he had to do was stand on stage, sing three songs and smile.  His music teacher told me he knew all the songs and he was her loudest singer in class.   I couldn't wait to see him.  This is what he did.  THE.WHOLE.TIME.

Stood there...

Stood there....

Stood there....

...and stood there some more.

Looking on the bright side, at least he didn't cry or run off stage.

Ella, well Ella, what can I say?  She LIVES for this stuff.  Not only does she not mind performing, she absolutely loves it.  She loves all eyes on her.

Three kids, three different personalities, none right or wrong and I love them all!
