Susan's 12 Days of Giveaways Part II (but I'm not really giving anything away)

Welcome to what basically has become my Christmas list, but I'm guising it as Ellen's Susan's 12 Days of Giveaways.  One important thing here-- I'm not giving anything away, merely pretending I am.  Isn't that fun?
Susan's 12 Days of Giveaways Part 2-- Days 5 to 8

Day 5:  Hunter Original Short Gloss Boots.  These want to live in my closet and go on long walks in the rain.

Day 6:  Medal Display (this is their Facebook page).  I really want to make customized one and have done a lot of research to find the "person" who I think could do the job.  I'd like to have the swim, bike, run "characters" as well as Mom Swim Bike Run.  AND you can still get yours by Christmas (you have like 4 more days to order... hint hint).   Check out Allied Medal Displays here.

Day 7:  The Kindle.  I know, I know you like the "feel" of a book.  Well get over it.  Once you go Kindle you'll wonder why you ever cared about giving up the feel.  You can "carry" multiple books with you at once.  You can get instant gratification downloading in book in minutes.  If you have to, take you Kindle to Barnes and Noble and smell the books while reading on your Kindle.  They make new car smell, why can't they bottle new book smell.  Who's they anyway?  Whatever.  Get a Kindle (and put that red bow on it, it looks so cute).

Day 8:  Words with Friends App.  Yes you need this because you don't have enough going on in your life and you need another time-suck that is basically a part time job.  Nevertheless there's nothing like the feeling of a J on a triple letter on top of a triple word score.  Better yet, plain AX, XI and HI  for 146 points.

Well I have 2 out of three already so who needs your NON giveaway - Almost bought a knockoff pair of those boots today too - didn't do it though. Better not go to B & N with your Kindle - better get a Nook! xoxox G.

Dude! You get NO rain to wear those boots! Here in Lancaster, however, a record amount of yearly rainfall, and I'm sick of it! I could use those boots :).
