Crockin' Girls Take One

First an update on my health status:  STILL SUCKS.

  • I went to the dentist today and he did some MORE adjusting and thinks this should FINALLY take care of it.  If not then I'm going to have the filling on the bottom right side of my mouth redone.
  • I added a sore back to my list of ailments today.  Well actually it has been sore for about a week, but I neglected to tell you about it because I was already complaining so much.  Um yeah, today it got worse.
  • Foot is same.  No change.  That means same so don't know why I typed both.
Because I'm not feeling so well, I'm doing everything I can to make my life a little more simple.  I know I'm most likely late to the party, but I just (as in yesterday) found this website.  I'm pretty sure it's going to save my life (and my marriage).

Have you heard of Crockin' Girls?  It's a website dedicated to all things crockpot.  Hello easy dinner!
Anyway, if you haven't checked out the website I really think you should.  The recipes seem to me to be super easy, super tasty, and pretty kid friendly.

I tried this recipe today.

Cheesy Chicken
4-6 boneless chicken breasts
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 small can evaporated milk

Directions:
Cook on low heat about 6 hours in slow cooker.
Best served over mashed potatoes or white rice.

I give this one 3 stars out of 5.  It was easy, and it was good, but it wasn't exceptional.  I will say this recipe kept the chicken super moist and tender so that was a bonus.

I'll be cooking a lot of recipes from Crockin' Girls and I'll be rating all the recipes I try.  I know, I know, you're super excited aren't you!

What do you expect?  I don't feel good!  wahhhhhhhh

Exceptional from a crock- prolly not- but good just the same. G.

Sorry to hear about all of your ailments. I hope everything starts looking up soon.

I am way behind as well since this is the first time hearing about the Crockin' Girls site. I love crockpot meals and will probably be spending lots of time on that site now! I am looking forward to your reviews :)

You have nothing to feel bad about....you don't feel good but are still taking care of your family and that is awesome! Hope you feel better ASAP.
