Happy Heart Day

Every Valentine's Day I'm reminded how much I'm loved by both my sweet husband and my children. I doubt I do as good of a job showing them I love them as they do me.

Ella fills my heart with Joy, especially when she tells me she loves me because I make her smart.  It does say mom AND dad, but I think she meant just mom!

Regardless, this smile makes my day.  Just seeing her eyes light up, I feel like I see into her soul and see nothing but a good, kind person.   I hope she always stays this way.

Jack makes me laugh and smile every single day.  Just one kiss from him and my heart melts.  Nobody gives hugs and kisses like my Jack E. Bear.  He's gonna make a good hubby/daddy someday because he knows how to make someone feel so loved.

Nicholas is getting older and his tender moments are becoming fewer and further between.  So when I get them I cherish them.  My favorite part of the day is when he comes up to me and puckers his lips with a squeaky sound and says, "kissy for the mama."  I used to do that to him and now he does it to me!  I love this child!

Then there's George.  I've said it once and I'll say it a thousand times, he is better to me than I am to him.  I never doubt that he loves me (for a second) and he still finds ways to make me feel special.  He understands me like no one else and always "has my back".  AND he buys good jewelry.  He picked this out ALL by himself.

I love you little family of mine.  Thank you for making this a very special Valentine's Day, but thank you for loving me EVERY day!

I am sitting here feeling sorry for myself because my Valentine's Day was nothing like yours- glad I can kind of live through your day. Hopefully next year will be better.

You are one lucky lady and your family is lucky to have you. The kids are looking so grown up :(
