A Year in Review 2012

Another year has gone by and gone by so quickly.  So much has happened over the year.  I'd thought I'd share some of the highlights with you (again since most of this you've already seen before).

We celebrated George's birthday.  Last year in his 30s.

Amy and Abbey visited Austin.

I ran the 3M half marathon and PR'd (at the time) and fell on my face.

We spent the weekend at Great Wolf Lodge and had a great time.

We ran for Sherry.

I ran the Austin Half Marathon.

Ella began her 4th Soccer Season.

I ran the Zooma Half Marathon:

Nicholas started his second season of baseball.

We had a visit from the Buchas.

Jack started his second season of soccer.

We bought a boat.

I came to Pittsburgh to run the Half Marathon and set a new PR.

The kids ran a 5k.

Ella had her annual dance recital.

I road in the Atlas ride from Cedar Park to Lampasas Texas.

I did the Georgetown Super Sprint Triathlon and placed 2nd in my age group.

Nicholas participated in a Splash and Dash.

We traveled from Austin all the way to Pittsburgh via car!

We spent quality time with my family and George's family in Pennsylvania for 2 weeks.

I ran the Friendly Frolic 2 miler in 17:00.  That was HUGE for me.

Nicholas celebrated his 9th birthday with a pool party.

I started CrossFit.

My friends threw us a going away party and we said goodbye to Texas and moved back to Pittsburgh  (a very sad day).

I celebrated my 38th birthday.

The kids went back to school.

Frist Grade:

Fourth Grade:

Jack celebrated his 5h birthday.

We were finally able to see my nephew Drew play football at Allegheny College.

Ella turned 7 and had a ballerina birthday party.

I ran the Buffalo Creek Half Marathon and PRd again (this one stands as my current PR 2:06).

Papa Dan came for a visit for our annual pumpkin patch trip.

Halloween as Katy Perry, Jase from Duck Dynasty and Atom from Reel Steel.

I ran the NYC Run Anyway Marathon.

We spent thanksgiving weekend in Indianapolis with family....

... and sat on Santa's lap.

We experienced our first snow storm in 2 years.

Christmas came and went.

And now here we are 2 days before 2013.  What a great year 2012 has been.  I'm excited to see what lies ahead for all of us.
