Day Two Detox: No Fun

I feel like crap.  Complete and utter crap.  I don't know if I'm getting sick (George has bronchitis) or if my body is rejecting itself.  haha

I was up all night with a terrible caffeine withdrawal headache (I'm not doing coffee since I can't have creamer) and I was starving.  Have you ever been woken up due to hunger?  Not fun, not fun!

Yeah so life over here isn't very fun.  I'm beginning to realize how much my body depends on carbs.  Low carbs is not fun for me, especially because I don't particularly care for meat.  Like everything else in life, there will have to be some trial and error.  I have to figure out what works for me and what will keep me full.

Today I ate:

Breakfast:  Smoothie with frozen fruit (blueberries, blackberries and strawberries), almond milk and protein powder.

Snack:  Quest Bar (Brownie)

Lunch:  Pineapple, turkey burger with guac, tomatoes,  and one slice of bacon


Snack:  Whole banana with 2 tablespoonfuls of Almond Butter

Dinner:  No fun fajitas.  No fun because no sour cream, no cheese and no tortillas.  Wah!

I don't mean to bore you with all the details of my eats, but this is a good way to hold myself accountable.  This is definitely not easy for me.

Has anyone ever gone through a "detox" similar to what I'm doing?  Do you experience headaches, fatigue or anything else?  Share your stories and advice in the comments.  Thanks!

I totally get you. Been trying to eat healthy at home and there are times when I just want to go back to my old unhealthy diet. Ugh! Your meals look delicious to me! I wanna try your No Fun Fajitas tomorrow for dinner.
