Taylor Swift Concert

The whole reason Bianca and Isabel came to visit is because of the Taylor Swift concert.  Ella really wanted to go to the Taylor Swift concert, but she REALLY wanted to go with her BFF.

Ella and Isabel have a very special relationship.  They've managed to keep it going for almost a year now since we moved.  They Facetime every week where they'll play games and read to each other.  It's so sweet to watch.

So when Santa brought Ella her Taylor Swift tickets I asked Isabel's dad (as a joke) to send Bianca and Isabel out to join us and he said yes!  I couldn't believe it, but I wasn't going to complain.  We've been counting down the moments until this concert since December.

I really wanted Bianca to wear her white lace dress too, but she wouldn't.  Humph.

At least I had the boots and matching belt.  Ha!

We got to the concert and snapped a pic with Taylor...

... and then ran into my nephew and his girlfriend.  57,000 people and we bump into them in the first 5 minutes of being there.  I was happy because the girls really wanted to see Belle (and look she matched too).

My nephew has a HUGE crush on Taylor Swift, he was trying to win her over.  Did it work Drew?

Ella's and my seats were in the first row right in front of the stage and Isabel and Bianca's were a little further back.  We decided to all squeeze in my seats (and that worked out great because there was one empty seat beside us), but in hind sight it might have been better a little further back.

We were so close to the stage and the stage was so high.  Sometimes it was really hard to see.

But the girls stood on their chairs....

.... and we had an awesome view of the jumbotron.

The concert was amazing (one of the best I have ever seen).  Taylor Swift is a performer for sure.  Ella told me during the concert, that she was having the best time ever.  It made me so happy because I worried she would lose interest.   Not once did she or Isabel complain despite the late night, the heat and the noise level.

I hope this is experience these two girls will remember forever.  I for one, will never forget Ella's first concert and the special time she spent with her BFF.
