Favorite Things (Including Ladera Giveaway)

I thought I'd write a "Favorite Things" post because there are a lot of things I love and why should I keep it all to myself for only myself to enjoy?  I should share right?  Right!  So here goes (and there may only be few, but I plan to make this a reoccurring post around here so there's that).

Beastette Pink Camo Wrist Wraps

Overhead squats, snatches and other movements I'm sure are really hard on my wrists.  My coach at CrossFit recommend these and they really work well.  Of course I had to go with a little pink, but there are many, many color options to choose from.

Ladera Granola

I was sent a bag of this to sample and I was blown away by how good it was.  You all know I'm a health food sceptic, as in I never know if it will TASTE good, but this does.  It's good!  Really good.  I mixed mine with some bananas and greek yogurt on a day when nothing was seeming to satisfy my crazy appetite.  It worked!  The added bonus is that Ladera is a company built on some pretty simple beliefs.  Be natural.  Be sustainable.  Be powerful.  Simple and good.  TRY IT!!!  *See end of post for your chance to win your own bag.

Title Nine Trade Up Sports Bra

My friend Chrystal (from Texas) tipped me off to this bra and I absolutely love it.  I had been having a lot of trouble with my old, cheap sports bras and chaffing so I decided to invest in at least one good sports bra.  I linked to the Title Nine site, but I bought mine on Amazon for much less.

Buddy Lee Jump Rope

Remember CrossFit Open WOD 14.1?  Well the Double Unders I was able to muster were because of this jump rope.  You cut it to fit you specifically and it's meant for speed.  I will get my DUs (consecutively) with this jump rope.

Panera Offical Training Menu

You had to have seen this one coming right?  You know I'm an Official Training Menu Blogger for Panera and the Pittsburgh Marathon right?  This week I had to work on Wednesday and I had George bring me a Panera lunch.  I tried two things from the Official Training Menu and I loved them both!
Tuna Salad Sandwich (I ate half:  255 calories 29 grams of protein)

Spinach Power Salad (450 calories, 16 grams of protein and 100% of daily iron)

Well I've had them both before, but that's why I decided to eat them again, because I'm a creature of habit.  But I never get the FULL salad or a FULL sandwich and I got both because I really wanted to try to keep myself full.  I only get to eat once during my 10 hour shift ya know!  So yeah, I only ate half the sandwich and the whole salad, but I stayed full until 7 pm when I got off work.  That's 5 hours without eating, which is really and truly a new world record for me.  WINNING!

So there you have it-- all the things I'm loving lately.

What do you think?  Will you try any of my favorite things?

*Would you like to win your own bag of Ladera Granola?  Leave a blog comment telling me your favorite thing right now and you'll be entered to win a bag of Orignal ladera Granola.  Like Ladera Granola on Facebook or follow them on Twitter (@LaderaGranola) for an extra entry.  Just be sure to leave an extra comment telling me you did so.

I am loving the cherry pie larabars right now. They are a great midday snack for me with no added sugars.

I won a sample of Cocogo on another blog (coconut water), and I love it, even though I don't like regular coconut water. Grape is my favorite flavor. Also loving the fact that I can run tomorrow outside and not freeze or die on ice/snow?

I have been trying to think of my favorite thing right now and I can't think of anything except Pintrest. I am addicted. Anything I need to find I can find there! Hoping that granola will be my favorite thing when I win the free bag! :)

Loved this post! I always like learning about new things to try. My current favorite is Angie's Boom Chicka Pop popcorn. Low-cal & tastes great!
